Apply a small amount of brake grease to the wheel cylinder piston ends.
CAUTION
Use only brake grease pin J8126688 (listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin). This special grease is required for this
procedure.
14.
Install the new shoes and adjuster assembly to the backing plate. Carefully guide the parking brake lever through the boot. Use care to prevent
damaging the boot.
15.
Install the parking brake cable.

Install the new brake shoe hold down springs, hold down pins, lower return spring, lever pawl, and lever pawl spring provided in the brake shoe
