Raider V6-3.7L SOHC (2006)
4. Remove rear brake components. to prevent any drag.
5. Rotate companion flange three or four times and verify flange rotates smoothly.
6. Measure rotating torque of the pinion (1) with a inch pound torque wrench (2) and record the reading for installation reference.
7. Install bolts into two of the threaded holes in the companion flange 180° apart.
8. Position Holder 6719 against the companion flange and install a bolt and washer into one of the remaining threaded holes. Tighten the bolts so the
Holder 6719 is held to the flange.
9. Remove the pinion nut and washer.
10. Remove companion flange (1) with Remover C452(2).
11. Remove pinion seal with a pry tool or slide-hammer mounted screw.
