Rear Door Latch: Service and Repair

LATCH

REMOVAL

1. Remove the watershield.

2. Disconnect the latch actuator rods (3, 4 and 6).
3. Remove the screws (1) and remove the latch (2).
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (5).

INSTALLATION

1. Position the latch (2) into the door and connect the electrical connector (5).
2. Install the latch and install the screws (1).
3. Tighten the screws to 9.5 N.m (85 in.lbs.).
