1. Remove the heated seat switch/modules from the center floor console.
2. Connect the battery negative cable.
3. Turn the ignition to the "RUN" position.
4. Check for battery voltage on terminals 4 and 6 of the switch/module connector of the inoperative seat. Battery voltage should be present on both

terminals. If OK go to step below. If NOT OK repair the open or shorted fused B(+) circuit as required.

5. Check for continuity between ground terminal 1 of the switch/module connector of the inoperative seat and a good ground. If OK go to step below.

If NOT OK, repair the open or shorted ground circuit as required.

6. Check for continuity between the heated seat element supply circuit terminal 3 of the switch/module connector of the inoperative seat and the

heated seat element connector of the inoperative seat. If OK go to step below. If NOT OK, repair the open or shorted supply circuit as required.

7. Perform the heated seat element diagnosis for the inoperative seat to check the suspect heated seat elements. If the elements test OK, replace the

inoperative heated seat switch/module, switch/module, (Refer to BODY/ HEATED SEATS - SERVICE INFORMATION/ SWITCH -  HEATED
SEAT/SWITCH - HEATED  SEAT - REMOVAL) for the appropriate procedure.  If NOT OK, replace the inoperative heated seat  element,(Refer
to BODY/HEATED  SEATS - SERVICE INFORMATION/HEATER - CUSHION PAD/DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING -  HEATED SEAT
ELEMENT) for the appropriate  procedure.
