Raider 2WD V6-3.7L (2008)
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the glove box (4) from the instrument panel (2).
3. Reach behind the upper glove box opening to access and depress the retaining latch on either side of the glove box lamp and switch (3).
4. While holding the retaining latch depressed, push the glove box lamp and switch unit out through the mounting hole in the face of the instrument
panel.
5. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the glove box lamp and switch.
6. Remove the lamp and switch from the instrument panel.
BULB INSTALLATION
WARNING: To avoid serious or fatal injury on vehicles equipped with airbags, disable the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) before
attempting any steering wheel, steering column, airbag, seat belt tensioner, impact sensor, or instrument panel component diagnosis or service.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative (ground) cable, then wait two minutes for the system capacitor to discharge before performing
further diagnosis or service. This is the only sure way to disable the SRS. Failure to take the proper precautions could result in accidental
airbag deployment.
CAUTION: Always use the correct bulb size and type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or type may overheat and cause damage to the
lamp, the socket or the lamp wiring.
