PURPOSE
This bulletin contains information to supplement the 1986 and 1987 Staridon Service Manuals. The refill capacity of the Starion front struts was
inadvertently left out of the manuals, and the capacity of the struts on the ESIR model is greater than the LE model. As reference to this bulletin, please
write the STB number in the revision box on the following pages:

CORRECTION
The following table gives the refill capacity of the struts. Do not overfill the struts. Use a graduated beaker to measure the oil, and make allowance for
any oil that might be clinging to the walls of the strut cylinder.
Refill Capacity For Replacement Struts
1986-1987 Starion ESIR................................440 cc. 1986-1987 Starion LE. ................................418 cc.
FLUID RECOMMENDATION
Mitsubishi Absorber Oil, Part Number MB573145, is available in 450 cc containers. This fluid is specifically formulated for use in the Starion front
struts and is recommended.
