PURPOSE
A click, snap, or clunking noise may be heard from the rear axle hub area on some Starion vehicles when engine torque is applied. This noise is caused
by a slight movement in the axle hub area between the rear axle inner bearing and spacer. A parts kit is available which contains a slightly shorter inner
bearing spacer, Teflon coated washers and a lock nut. This condition can be corrected by following the repair procedures in this bulletin.

REPAIR PROCEDURES
1.
Unbolt the axle shaft from the companion flange.
