OPERATION
When a button on the remote-control assembly is pushed, two LEDs (Light-Emitting Diodes) in the steering wheel transmit a coded signal from the
controller to a photodiode in the steering column. This signal is amplified and sent to the radio. The operation is shown schematically in Figure 3.
