INTRODUCTION Mitsubishi passenger car replacement bumpers (refer to Parts Bulletins #MSPP013183 and MSPP001184) may be repainted to match
the vehicle color using one of the flexible urethane refinishing systems offered by major suppliers of automotive refinishing materials. For color
information, please refer to STB-23-82-003, 1983 Paint Refinish Codes and STB-83-23-020, 1984 Paint Refinish Codes.
MATERIALS Your body shop will determine the most satisfactory materials based on its experience and facilities. Excellent flexible urethane
refinishing systems-for both lacquer and enamel are offered by Ditzler, DuPont and R-M Automotive Products, to name but three. A summary of these
three is presented below:
