Clean all parts prior to assembly. Fig. 28.
CAUTION:Do not clean tensioners, belts or sealed bearings in any type of liquid solvent.
If oil, grease, solvent or coolant contaminates the belt, it should be replaced.
The tensioner's bearings are lubricated and sealed at the factory. The lubrication can be washed out when they are cleaned with
solvent.
