Push the tensioner upwards until the belt is taut and torque the bolt. Fig. 14.
Torque Value:
11 - 16 ft.lbs (15 - 22 Nm.)
CAUTION:The tensioner may turn when tightening the bolt, causing excessive tension on the belt.

Using your index finger with moderate pressure, check the belt deflection at the point indicated. Fig. 11a.
Belt Deflection:
.20 - .28 in. (5 - 7 mm)

If necessary, re-adjust the belt tension.

Install the crankshaft "A" sprocket with the belt flange towards the engine. Fig. 16.
