After above adjustment is completed, depress clutch pedal and check the clutch pedal to floorboard clearance (C), Fig. 4. Pedal to floorboard
clearance should be 2.2 inches or more on Cordia and Tredia or 1.4 inches or more on Montero.

If clutch pedal to floorboard clearance is less than specified value, check for air in hydraulic system or defective clutch assembly.
