Change ignition timing.

Check curb idle speed. Adjust as necessary.
8.
Adjust sub-EGR valve if paint seal on screw is missing or broken.
9.
Clean secondary main air jet and choke shaft with carburetor cleaner.
10.
Affix modification label.
11.
Remove, clean and reinstall air cleaner element.
Conditional Operations
The "conditional operations" are peformed only if there is a need for them-if inspection of the exhaust manifold reveals a crack or if the ID number cast
into its upper surface indicates that replacement is necessary, the exhaust manifold should be replaced. In addition, if the MAS plug is missing or
evidence of tampering is present, the idle CO should be checked and adjusted as necessary.
These "conditional operations" are as follows:
1.
Replace exhaust manifold if cracked or if ID number indicates replacement.
2.
If MAS plug is missing or evidence of tampering is present check idle CO and adjust as necessary.
