1984 300ZX (non-turbo) and 1984 200SX (turbo and non-turbo)

SERVICE INFORMATION

Some 1984 300ZX vehicles (non-turbo) and 1984 200SX vehicles (non-turbo and turbo) equipped with manual transmissions may exhibit a raking noise
when upshifting from 1st to 2nd gear or downshifting from 3rd to 2nd gear. New synchronizer components are available to reduce the raking noise in
affected vehicles.

The new components can be installed in vehicles built before the following VINs:

200ZX
