1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain engine coolant.
2. Remove water inlet attaching bolts, then the water inlet, Fig. 42.
3. Remove thermostat from thermostat housing.
4. Reverse procedure to install, applying suitable liquid sealant to water inlet.
