SERVICE INFORMATION
 
If the applied vehicles have a MIL "ON" with DTCs P0300 through P0304 (cylinder misfire) stored or exhibit engine rough running, the cause may be a
cracked spark plug wire tube(s).
 
Use the following procedure to inspect the spark plug wire tubes.
 
SERVICE PROCEDURE
 
1.

Remove the spark plug wires and inspect for water in the spark plug holes.

A.

If water is in the spark plug holes, perform the following steps:

Remove water from the spark plug holes.
