VIN Application. The new parts were applied in the December 1982 Production with the following serial numbers.

Service Information

Some 200SX's manufactured prior to December 1982, equipped with power steering, may exhibit a whining or groaning noise when the engine is first
started in weather below 35~F. The noise generally is brief, not symptomatic of damage, and disappears as the power steering fluid warms up.

If a customer wishes to correct this condition, replacing parts with the parts listed below is recommended.
