REAR BRAKE JUDDER, 200SX
When the brakes are lightly applied on a 200SX as it backs up at low speed, a rear brake judder or "groan" may occur. The condition can be corrected by
installing a wheel bearing shim on the rear axle case. In addition, if the manufacturing date of the vehicle is 4/81 or earlier, replace the rear brake pads
with new pads, P/N 44060-N8425. (Refer to TS81-042.) Later vehicles do not require pad replacement as part of this correction.
