Place a floor jack under the engine oil pan, with a block of wood between the jack and the oil pan, and raise the engine slightly to relieve the
weight of the engine from the engine mount (see Figure 1).

NOTE: 

Be careful not to damage the vehicle's paint with the floor jack.

Pull up on the engine coolant reservoir tank to remove it from its mounting bracket. Move the tank out of the way by placing it on the left side of
the radiator hose (see Figure 2).

CAUTION: 

If the engine is hot, do not place the reservoir tank on or near the engine exhaust manifold.

Remove the engine coolant reservoir tank mounting bracket from the vehicle (see Figure 3).
