Power Steering Fluid: Testing and Inspection
Checking Fluid Level
1. Check fluid level with engine OFF.
2. Check fluid level referring to the scale on reservoir tank.
3. Use HOT range for fluid temperatures of 50 - 80° C (122 - 176° F).
4. Use COLD range for fluid temperatures of 0 - 30° C (32 - 86° F).
CAUTION:

Do not overfill.

Recommended fluid is Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) type Dexron III, or equivalent.
