Trunk Lamp: Description and Operation

Power is supplied at all times:

^

through 7.5 A fuse (No. (20), located in the fuse block [J/B])

^

to interior lamp terminal (1)

^

to trunk room lamp terminal(1).

Models with multi-remote control system
Power is supplied at all times:

^

through 25 A fusible link (letter (f) ,located in the fusible link and fuse box)

^

to circuit breaker terminal (1)

^

through circuit breaker terminal (2)

^

to smart entrance control unit terminal (1) for multi-remote control system.

Ground is supplied to smart entrance control unit terminal (10) through body grounds (M43), (M44) and (M60).
When the trunk room lamp switch is set to OPEN (trunk is opened), ground is supplied:

^

to trunk room lamp terminal (2)

^

through trunk room switch terminal (1),

^

through trunk room lamp switch terminal (2) and

^

through body grounds (T9) and (T10).

With power and ground supplied, the trunk room lamp turns ON.
