7. Disconnect vacuum hose between intake manifold and canister, then connect vacuum hoses and one-way valve, Fig. 100.
8. Connect vacuum hose between vacuum tank and vacuum switching valve, then remove tape which secures connectors for sub-harness.

9. Connect sub-harness to engine harness, vacuum switching valve, and vacuum switch, Fig. 101, then secure vacuum hoses and harness with bands.

10. Install air cleaner and remove blind cap attached to air cleaner, then connect air hose between altitude compensator and air cleaner.
11. Start engine and check air and vacuum lines for leaks.
12. If there are no leaks, check new EGR system as follows:

a. Remove AB valve hose from air cleaner and shut off air passage between TVV and air cleaner by pinching off hose, then disconnect vacuum

hose from vacuum switch.

b. Connect vacuum gauge to end of vacuum hose. If intake manifold vacuum is not present recheck air and vacuum lines.

13. Warm up engine until it reaches operating temperature and check idle speed, adjusting as necessary.
