Heater Core: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and drain cooling system.
2. Disconnect heater inlet and outlet coolant pipes from heater unit.
3. Remove instrument panel as outlined in Instrument Panel.
4. Disconnect heater ducts, Fig. 5.
5. Disconnect wiring harness connectors from heater unit.
6. Remove heater unit.
7. Separate heater unit case halves and remove heater core.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
