SERVICE INFORMATION:

The Swirl Control Valve (SCV) System has been eliminated on 240SX (S13) vehicles built from the Applied V.I.N./Production Date. SCV components
which were eliminated, include:

SCV Solenoid Control Valve

SCV [mechanical portion]

^

SCV Control Valve Actuator

NOTE 1: 
Although the SCV System is no longer in place, the SCV System Control Program remains in the Electronic Control Module and is listed in the
diagnostic test mode of CONSULT.

NOTE 2: 
With respect to the elimination of the SCV, there has also been a change in the Intake Valve Clearance. For more information, please refer to
NTB93-xxx(EM93-xxx).
