Fig. 3 Clutch Interlock Switch Adjustment
The clutch hydraulic system must be bled whenever a clutch line has been disconnected or when air has entered the system. The bleed valve is located
on the clutch operating cylinder.
1. Adjust clutch pedal height, dimension ``H'' in Fig. 1 to specifications shown in Fig. 2 using pedal stop or clutch switch.
2. Adjust dimension ``C'' Fig. 3 to specifications shown in Fig. 2 with clutch pedal fully depressed.
3. Adjust clutch pedal freeplay, dimension ``A'' Fig. 1 to specification shown in Fig. 2. Adjust clutch pedal freeplay by rotating the clutch master
cylinder pushrod inward or outward until the specified freeplay is obtained. After completing freeplay adjustment, tighten locknut. Clutch pedal
freeplay is the sum of play between piston and piston rod.
4. After the above adjustments have been completed, cycle clutch pedal several times to ensure clutch linkage operates smoothly without binding.
