Water Pump: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable and drain cooling system.

2.

Remove radiator shroud.

3.

Loosen fan pulley attaching nuts and the fan belt.

4.

Loosen alternator attaching bolts and push alternator toward engine.

5.

Loosen power steering oil pump drive belt.

6.

Remove fan, fan coupling and fan pulley as an assembly.

7.

Remove water pump and gasket.

8.

Reverse procedure to install, using new gasket.
