SERVICE INFORMATION

This Technical Bulletin contains component, control operation, troubleshooting and general radio reception information for 1988 300ZX (GLL) models
equipped with the new Panasonic AM/FM MPX Electronic Tuning Radio/Cassette stereo players. Incorporating new state of the art features, these
radio/cassettes have improved performance in the following areas:

SOUND QUALITY:
1.

Sound quality performance has been tailored to 300ZX interior acoustics.

2.

2-way coaxial front speakers are now used.

RECEPTION QUALITY:
1.

Incorporates new integrated circuits and additional circuitry to improve reception.

2.

Receiving area has been expanded by increased reception sensitivity and lowered signal-to-noise ratio.

3.

Multipath noise and fluttering, caused by reflected FM signals, have been reduced.

CASSETTE TAPE OPERATION:
Contains state-of-the-art Full Logic Control, with reduced mechanical noise.
