Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Description and Operation
PURPOSE
The Ambient Sensor coverts the outside air temperature into a resistance value which is input to the Auto Amplifier.
OPERATION
The Ambient Sensor circuit contains a time-delay function so that sudden large increases in ambient temperature, which can happen when the
vehicle is moving through heavy traffic, are processed very slowly to prevent wild swings in interior temperature.
