REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE

1.

Remove the antenna assembly.

2.

Disconnect the harness from the control unit.

3.

Remove harness connector from the bracket.

4.

Remove the tapping screw.

5.

Remove the pipe with the control unit attached.

6.

Remove the screws from the control unit.

7.

Remove the control unit from pipe.

8.

Attach the control unit to the bracket of the countermeasure antenna using the screws supplied.

9.

Connect the antenna harness to the control unit.

10.

Attach the harness connector to the bracket.

11.

Check for proper operation of the antenna. If the antenna does not operate, replace the control unit (P/N 28245-01P00).
