A/C Relay: Testing and Inspection

Remove relay from fuse panel and check continuity with ohmmeterFig. 68.

Meter should indicate continuity between terminals 1 and 2 and between terminals 3 and 6, but should indicate no continuity between 3 and 5.

3.

Using jumper wires, connect battery voltage across terminals  1 and 2.

4.

Ohmmeter should indicate continuity between terminals 3 and 5, but should indicate no continuity between terminals 3 and 6.
