Removal And Installation

HEATER & COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY

HEATER CORE : Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove heater & cooling unit assembly.  See: Exploded View.
2. Remove heater pipe grommet and heater pipe bracket.  See: Exploded View.

3. Remove mounting screws (A), and then remove heater pipe cover (1).
4. Remove foot duct LH (2).  See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Air Duct/Service and Repair/Exploded View.
5. Slide heater core (3) to leftward (as shown in the figure).

INSTALLATION
Installation is basically the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:
 See: Coolant/Service and Repair/Refilling when filling radiator with engine coolant.
