Engine Oil - Factory Break In Oil Reddish In Color

RED ENGINE OIL, ALL MODELS

The "break-in" engine oil used by the factory may be a reddish color, resembling automatic transmission fluid. It is, in fact, 1OW30 engine oil and
should not be mistaken for automatic transmission fluid. Maintenance procedures are unchanged; the oil change interval remains the same as shown in
the Service Manual.
