POWER STEERING JUDDER, 1981-1984 910 MAXIMA
APPLIED MODEL:
1981-84 910 Maxima
SERVICE INFORMATION
Some 910 Maxima vehicles may exhibit a phenomenon called "power steering judder". It is best described as a vibration or shimmy felt in the steering
wheel while parking or maneuvering the vehicle in low speed turns. Although annoying, the judder is not harmful and is not a sign of failure in the
steering system. Countermeasure parts are now available for incident vehicles to reduce the severity of the vibration. Two replacement hose sets are
available, depending on whether the vehicle is equipped with an Atsugi or GM-Saginaw power steering pump.
