^ The measurement value is located on a label attached to the reduction gear's packaging (see Figure 20).

14. Click on Calculate (see Figure 19).

^ A shim part number will appear (see example in Figure 21).

15. Obtain or order this shim (as it applies) from your parts department.

^ If two (2) part numbers display, install one (1) shim of each part number.

^ All shims will be installed on the CVT case side later on during the assembly procedure.

^ It is recommended to order the same shim to have it available in stock for other future repairs.

16. If the window in Figure 21 a appears, make sure all measurements, calculations, and inputted values are correct.

17. If the correct values are inputted three (3) more times and Figure 21a still appears, the CVT cannot be repaired.

^ If determined the CVT cannot be repaired, STOP HERE. Reassemble the CVT and replace with a new unit.

^ Skip to "Install CVT Assembly/Flush CVT Assembly".

NOTE:

CVT assembly flushing is not performed when replacing the CVT assembly.

18. If Figure 21 appeared, refer to "Remove Control Valve Assembly (Valve Body)".
