Install the bracket stud into the existing threaded hole on the exhaust manifold as shown in Figure 1.

The bracket stud is included in the Bracket Kit listed in the Parts Information.

NOTE:

If needed, use a 10 mm x 1.5 tap to clean the threaded hole before installing the Bracket Stud.

Make sure to put a light lubricating oil on the tap threads and the hole threads.

3.

Torque the bracket stud to 11.3 Nm (1.15 Kg-m, 100 in-lb)*

Use special tool J-49062 and a torque wrench.
