Maintenance of Electric Compressor Oil Quantity in Electric Compressor

CAUTION:  Use only Electric Compressor Oil ND-OIL 11 for the electric compressor of the air conditioning system. Using other A/C oils may
damage the A/C system as they may conduct electricity.

The electric compressor oil in the electric compressor circulates through the system with the refrigerant. Add electric compressor oil to electric
compressor when replacing any component or after a large refrigerant leakage has occurred. It is important to maintain the specified amount.
If electric compressor oil quantity is not maintained properly, the following malfunctions may result:

Lack of electric compressor oil: May lead to a seized electric compressor

Excessive electric compressor oil: Inadequate cooling (thermal exchange interference)

CHECKING AND ADJUSTING

CAUTION:  If excessive electric compressor oil leakage is noted, do not perform the electric compressor oil return operation.
Set the following conditions:

Test Conditions

Adjust the electric compressor oil quantity according to the given table.

After replacing any of the following major components, add the correct amount of electric compressor oil to the system.
