CLAIMS INFORMATION

Submit a Primary Failed Part (PP) line claim using the claims coding shown.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Install the replacement retainer clip as follows:

1.

Remove the old retainer clip by pulling it out of the console face with a pair of pliers being careful not to damage the console face.

NOTE:

If you cannot pull the clip out of the console face with pliers:

Remove the console box assembly (refer to the IP section of the applicable Service Manual for the console removal procedure)

Push the clip out from the backside of the console being careful not to damage the locking tabs that hold the clip in place

2.

Install the new retainer clip by pushing it into the face of the console, making sure it is fully seated in the hole.

3.

If previously removed, re-install the console box assembly.

4.

Ensure the console door closes and properly latches.
