Vacuum Lines

Removal and Installation

CAUTION:  
When installing vacuum hose, pay attention to the following points.

Do not apply any oil or lubricants to vacuum hose with check valve.

^

Insert vacuum tube into vacuum hose as shown.

^

Install vacuum hose with internal check valve, noting that arrow on hose indicates engine side.

Inspection 

HOSES AND CONNECTORS
Check vacuum hose and connections for air tightness, improper attachment, chafing and deterioration. Repair or replace as necessary.

CHECK VALVE 

Check vacuum with a vacuum pump.
