3. Remove front oil seal from front cover.

CAUTION:  Be careful not to damage front cover or crankshaft.

INSTALLATION 

1. Apply new engine oil to new oil seal and install it flush with front of mounting surface using a suitable tool.

Install new oil seal in the direction shown.

Suitable drift

Outer diameter: 59 mm (2.32 inch) 
Inner diameter: 49 mm (1.93 inch) 

CAUTION:  Press fit straight and avoid causing burrs or tilting the oil seal.

2. Installation of the remaining components is in reverse order of removal.
