Press the black Lock Button on each Air Bag Module Harness Connector see Figure 4) to make sure the connector is locked onto the Air Bag
Module.

Install a Connector Clip (supplied in the Kit) on each Air Bag Module Harness Connector (see Figure 5).

IMPORTANT:

Make sure the Connector Clips are fully seated and locked onto each Air Bag Module Harness Connector. Push down on the lop of each clip once
they are installed to make sure they are fully "seated".

Apply the piece of tape (supplied in the kit) over the Connector Clips (see Figure 6). This will prevent the edges of the Connector Clips from
damaging other wires.

Re-assembly:

Re-connect the Audio Controls Harness Connector (if equipped). See Figure 3.

12.

Re-install the Air Bag Module to the Steering Wheel using the new screws supplied in the kit (see Figure 2). Tighten the new screws to: 71 - 115
in-lb.

13.

Re-install the left and right Screw Covers (see Figure 1).

Check Air Bag Module Warning Light (on Instrument Panel):

CAUTION:

Make sure the ignition key is in the OFF position and all doors are closed before reconnecting the battery cables (next step).

Re-connect both battery cables.
