Observe the lower area of the speaker housing and speaker cone-frame. If water is leaking from this area it should be visible within 15
minutes (see figure 1).

2.

Separate the speaker housing from the cone-frame and the cone-frame from the door panel (see figure 1).

3.

Apply sealer (Permatex Ultra Black 598B Hi-temp RTV silicone or equivalent) to the speaker housing bottom and sides, and to the entire outer
edge of the cone-frame (see figure 1).

4.

Reinstall the speaker cone-frame and the speaker housing.

5.

Move the waist molding at the bottom of the window frame forward (see figure 2).

To move the waist molding, gently tap the end of the waist molding with a rubber mallet.

The front edge of the waist molding should be "flush" (even) with the front edge of the door.

6.

Recheck with water spray (as in step 1) to confirm the leak is eliminated.

7.

Reinstall door finisher.
