If the metal tab closest to the back of the door unfolds (see Figures 2A and 2B), the waist molding can come loose from the finisher.

If the metal tab unfolds, a gap can form between the waist molding and finisher fabric (see Figure 3).

The Service Procedure will have you bending the door finisher waist molding inward to completely fit over the finisher fabric.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Remove the door finisher. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Service Manual (ESM), Section EI (Exterior and Interior)/Door Finisher/Removal
and Installation for detail.
