1.

Move the temperature control knob to the center position.

2.

Remove the damaged temperature lever (be careful not to damage the cable).

Insert a flat head screw driver in the position shown to carefully pry off the lever.

3.

Note the position of the "key" on the gear and temperature lever.

4.

Attach the cable to the new temperature control lever.
