A.

Move the A/T selector guide wires out from under the wire guide pin (see Figure 6a).

B.

Lift up on the A/T selector guide to release 4 clips.

C.

Lift the A/T selector guide up and over the A/T shift lever (see Figure 6b).

D.

Flip the A/T selector upside down and re-position it to the driver side of the center floor console (see Figure 6c).

E.

Remove the shifter slide cover by lifting it up off the shift lever (see Figure 7).

CAUTION: 

Take note of the "F" and "R" on the shifter slide cover so as to correctly re-install it later in this procedure.

Disconnect the A/T shift cable from the A/T shift assembly as follows:
