While watching the left hand Link Arm Foot position and using the sunroof switch, "bump" the sunroof mechanism slowly toward the "Open"
position. Using this method center the Link Arm Foot into the track opening as shown if Figure 5. Make sure the Link Arm Foot is exactly flush
with the top of the track as shown in Figure 5.

NOTE: 

The position of the foot is critical for a correct adjustment to be done. Take your time when doing this step.

Have a helper push and hold the left hand Link Arm rearward.

NOTE:

The Link Arm will not noticeably move rearward. This pressure assures the Link Arm is in the proper position for Link Arm Foot adjustment.

While maintaining rearward Link Arm pressure, adjust the Link Arm Foot until it contacts the rear edge of the track opening (see Figure 6). Once
done, use a 2.5 mm hex wrench to hand tighten the Link Arm Foot securing bolt. Do not overtighten.

13.

Cycle the sunroof mechanism through the "Tilt" and "Open" positions. Listen for ratcheting (slipping) sounds. Any ratcheting sound indicates one
or both of the cables are slipping.

If there are no ratcheting (slipping) sounds, proceed to step 14.

If there are ratcheting (slipping) sounds, replace the sunroof and motor assembly.

14.

Return the sunroof mechanism to the home position.

15.

Install the sunroof glass, leaving the securing bolts loose so the sunroof glass can be adjusted.
