Install the replacement lower bracket onto the collector using the replacement lower bracket bolt (see the PARTS INFORMATION Section of this
bulletin).

NOTE: 

Position the bracket midway between the EGR valve base and BPT exhaust tube (see Figure 2).

Tighten the replacement lower bracket bolt to 70 kg-cm (60 in-lb.).

NOTE: 

Hold the bracket while tightening the replacement bolt to assure that the bracket remains positioned midway between the EGR valve and BPT
exhaust tube.

7.

Re-install the BPT valve and upper bracket onto the lower bracket using the two original upper bracket bolts (removed in Step 3). Torque the bolts
to 70 kg-cm (60 in-lb.).

NOTE: 

Ensure that the lower bracket does not contact the EGR valve base or the BPT exhaust tube.

8.

Start the vehicle and verify that the rattle noise is gone.
