Camshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

COMPONENT INSPECTION 
Camshaft Position Sensor 

1. Start engine and warm it up to the normal operating temperature.
2. Check voltage between camshaft position sensor terminals (3), (4) and ground.

If NG, replace distributor assembly with camshaft position sensor.
After this inspection, DTC P0340 (0101) might be displayed with camshaft position sensor functioning properly. Erase the stored memory.
