Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT

1. Remove stabilizer bar.

2. When installing stabilizer, make sure the paint mark and clamp face in their correct directions.

3. Make sure that slit in bushing is in the position shown in the figure.

INSPECTION

1. Check stabilizer for deformation or cracks. Replace if necessary. 
2. Check rubber bushings for deterioration or cracks. Replace if necessary.

3. Check that ball joint can rotate in all directions. If movement is not smooth and free, replace stabilizer bar link.
