For this campaign only, if it is determined the ECM relay in the IPDM needs to be replaced, use Special Tool J-50389. This is an exception to the
information contained in NTB09-036.

1. Verify the repair in this campaign applies by inspecting the IPDM.

a. Open the hood, and then place covers on the fenders for protection against scratches or other damage.
