STARTER MOTOR

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal and Installation.

2. Remove the starter harness terminal nut connectors.
3. Remove the two starter bolts, using power tools.
4. Remove the starter.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Tighten terminal nut carefully.

Terminal nut : 10.8 N.m (1.1 kg-m, 8 ft-lb)
